The Kitchen is a project brought to you by Erin Traylor. Erin has called Castro Valley home for more than 15 years, and this passion project reflects her commitment to fresh, local, and seasonal food.

After recently undergoing treatment for breast cancer, Erin gained an even deeper appreciation for the role that nutritious, high-quality food plays in overall health and well-being.

Through that experience, she recognized a need for more fresh and healthy dining options in her hometown of Castro Valley. The Kitchen was created to help fill that gap by offering wholesome, thoughtfully prepared food that brings together flavor, nourishment, and community.

At The Kitchen, fresh and flavorful options are always on the menu. Enjoy a full salad and grain bar, scratch-made soups, artisan sandwiches, deli salads, two flavors of rotisserie chicken, and chef-prepared meals made fresh daily.
